September 28 – Lake/Cook County (Northbrook)
During the Northbrook stop of the Illinois Turnaround Tour we had a rally and candidate forum. The candidates in attendance were: Mr. Hamilton Chang (R) 17th House District and Ms. Lauren Turelli (R) 58th House District.
Those in attendance asked several questions including:
- Would you propose a mandate that prohibits the building of any new nuclear power plants in Illinois?
- How would you lower the number of government entities in Illinois?
- Do you think the solar and wind energy production mandates are resonable in Illinois?
- Are you willing to fight for the disbanding of unions of public service employees?
